"જુવો, સાહેબ જે થઇ ગયું એ થઇ ગયું, હવે અહીંથી બોડી જલ્દી મળે તો તમારી મેં'રબાની.."કિશોરીલાલ થોડા દુઃખી સ્વરે બોલ્યો "હજુ તો પોસ્ટમોર્ટમ બાકી છે,તેનો રિપોર્ટ આવશે,મોટા સાહેબ જોશે પછી તમને બોડી આપશે"ગલોફાં માં થી પાન ની પિચકારી મારતો હવાલદાર બાબુસિંહ બોલ્યો ..અને હવે છેલ્લી વાર કહું છું ત્યાં છેટે બેહી જા,ડોહા. મારુ મગજ ના ખા આટલા ધુત્કાર પૂર્ણ શબ્દ સાંભળી એક બાપ પોતાની દીકરી નીકીતા ની લાશ લેવા જ ચૂપ હતો બાકી આવા કેટલાય હવાલદાર એમની પેઢી પર દિવસ રાત સલામ મારતા હતા. છતાં કડવો ઘૂંટ પીધા સિવાય કિંશૉરી લાલ પાસે કોઈ રસ્તો નહોતો.
