The Orange Love
PREFACE
I am delightful to publish my 1st book through E-platform. In today’s world, nobody has time though LOVE brings out time and therefore is eternal. The Lover who cannot remember/recite whole poem/shayri to impress his girlfriend, they can try Two Liners (2liners) poem/shayri.
I have written most of the 2liners in Gujarati. I want it to spread to Every Heart & for that I have translated the same 2 liners in other two languages i.e. Hindi & English. I am especially very thankful to my brother who has helped me in translation. We do not have poetic grip on English language that’s why translation in English may be at average level. So English translation is just for understanding as it may have literal translation rather than poetic blissful writing.
You must be assuming that the “Orange Love” is about love for orange? Naahh… it’s not the love for Orange, but something else that you will feel in my book !!!.

TranSlation in english:
Today, I am so amazed that I cannot utter a word(for love),
and,Every word seems to me as homonyms.
(2)આપણા મિલન ની વાત એને મંજુર નહિ હોય,
કે મારે તો મુકદ્દરે મુકદ્દરે વિરામ લખ્યો છે !!!
In Hindi
अपने मिलन की बात शायद उसको मंजूर नही होगी,
की थम जाना लिखा है मेरे हर मुक़द्दर पे !!
In English
Our togetherness/convergence may not possible perhaps,
As the journey of love has been little sluggish towards our ultimate destiny of love!!!
(3) હું તો ટાઇમ પર જ હતો, આ તો… સમય થોડો આગળ નીકળી ગયો !
मैं तो टाइम पर ही था, लेकिन समय मेरे से आगे निकल गया |
I was on time only, but time just went ahead of me.
(4)एक अरसां बिता दिया आपकी महोब्बत की ऐय्याशी में,
और आप खामखा हमसे नाराज़ रहते चले !!

ઍક દાયકો વિતાવી દીધો તારા પ્રેમ ની ઐયાશી મા,
ને તૂ ખાલી ઍમ જ મારા થી નારાજ થતી રહી.
In English
I had spent a decade of life in your lusty love,
And you have created the void for me !!!
(5) આજે સમય જ બધા જખ્મો રુજાવી ગયો,
નહી તો મિલન ની આશા- ફરી જન્મી હતી !!

आज तो वक्त ने ही सभी जख़्मो पे मरहम लगा दिया,
वरना अपने मिलन की एक आस अभी ही पेदा हुई थी|
In English,
I hoped that we may come together for our love ,
but the pain was too deep & passage of time has covered it up.
(6) આજે પરિવાર ને ફરીવાર મળવાની ઈચ્છા થઈ ગઈ ,
ઘૂઘવતા દરિયા ને , આ પ્યાલી મા ભરવાની ઈચ્છા થઈ ગઈ .
In Hindi
आज परिवार को मिलने की फिर से अभिलाषा हो गयी,
उछलते हुये समंदर को ये प्याली मे भरने की अभिलाषा हो गयी
In English
It means that a person is so much happy only by thinking that he/she is going to meet his/her family after living away from his/her family for many years. So he/she has lots of talk to do, lots of sharing of memories, with full of emotions & pure bliss.
(7) હૂ તો સમજ્યો કે સાગર સાવ ખાલી થઈ ગયો ,
આંખો મા સરોવર બાંધી , ભરેલો ડૅમ થઈ ગયો .
In Hindi,
मैं तो समजा, की समुंदर पूरा खाली हो गया,
लेकिन वह तो अँखियो मे झील बना के, भरा हुआ बाँध हो गया.
In English,
I thought, the ocean of love was emptied for you,
But it seems to be locked up it in your eyes.
(8) તારી પહેલી મુલાકાતે હું, વગર વરસાદે ચોમાસુ થઈ ગયો,
અત્યાર સુધી છાંયો હતો , પણ આજે, તારો પડછાયો થઈ ગયો.
In hindi
तेरी पहेली मुलाकात मे, बिना बारिश के सावन हो गया,
अब तक जो छाँव था, आज, तेरी परछाई हो गया
In English,
At our first meeting, I became monsoon without a raindrop,
Captivating feelings has embraced me so much that, I’ll be your shadow.
(9) આજે વરસાદ પણ પૉલિટિક્સ રમી ગયો.
ના પૂરેપૂરો કોરો રહી શક્યો કે ના પુરો ભીંજાઈ શક્યો !
आज तो बारिश ने भी पॉलिटिक्स खेल लिया,
ना तो मैं सुख पाया, ना तो पूरा भीग पाया
Even monsoon played politics & holds me back,
Such that I neither love you nor hate you.
(10) ભરી ને હથેળી મા પાણી, આમ દરિયો હોવા નુ બંધ કર,
મૂઠીભર રેતી હાથ મા રાખી,લોકો ને મે આસમાન આંબતા જોયા છે !
भर के हथेली मे पानी, ऐसे दरिया बनना बन्द कर,
चन्द मिट्टी को हाथ मे रखते हुए, लोगो को मैने आसमान छूते देखा है
Don’t pretend to be someone by enacting shallow good doings,
People having nothing can also achieve the sky.
(11) સપના ની કિમત ચૂકવી છે,
પાનખર ના પાન થોડા છીઍ કે , કૈ ખરી જવાના,
તમારી નજરો ની કિલ્લેબંધી મા છિઍ ,
ઍમ કાઇ થોડા સરી(સરકી) જવાના !
ख्वाबों की कीमत चुकाई है
पतझड़ थोड़ी ना है, की मुरझा जाएँगे
तेरी नझरो मे कैद है
ऐसे ही थोड़ी सरक जाएँगे
Your dreams has costs me ,
I am not the leaves of autumn, which will fall
I am imprisoned in your eyes
Will not be freed just like that.
(12) રણ ની તરસ ત્યારે છીપાયી હશે,કે જ્યારે દરિયાની પરછાયી ઍને મળી હશે,
ઍકલી નહી પડવા દઉ તને,-જો જે મારી ઍક્લતા મા તને -મારી જુદાઈ મળી હશે!!
रेगिस्तान की प्यास तब बुझी होगी, जब समुंदर की परछाई उसे मिली होगी
अकेली ना होने दूँगा तुझे, देखना, मेरे अकेलेपन मे भी तुझे मेरी जुदाई मिली होगी
Thirst of the desert would have been quenched, when it would have gotten the shadow of the ocean
Would not let you feel aloof, rest assured, my separation must had met you in my solitude.
(13) सपने टूटे,दिल टूटे, टूटे सारे अरमान ,
आप हमे मिले ना होते,तो यू ना होते बेईमान
Dreams broke, heart broke, broke all my desires,
If you had not met me, they would not have been perfidious.
સપના તૂટ્યા, દિલ તુટ્યુ, ને તૂટ્યા બધા અરમાન,
જો તૂ ના મળી હોત, તો ઍ ના હોત બેઇમાન.
(14) તારો હાથ મારા દિલ પર મૂક જો કેવુ લાગે છે,
હોય જો અંધારુ તોય અજવાળુ લાગે છે
हाथ तेरा मेरे दिल पे रखो, कैसा लग रहा है,
हो भले ही अंधेरा, उजाला लग रहा है
Keep your hands on my heart, how it feels,
Though having darkness, feeling lighten up.
(15) माना की तू खफा होगी हमारी वफ़ा से यूही,
क्यूकी हम कह नही सकते दिल के अरमान यूही !
Considered, that you are perturbed with my loyalty,
For the reason, I am unable to depict my aspirations.
માન્યુ કે તૂ ખફા હોઇશ મારી વફા થી આમ જ,
કેમકે હું કહી નથી શકતો દિલ ના અરમાન આમ જ.+
(16) તમે કઈ કેહવા માંગતા હોવ તો , હું પણ કંઈક સમજવા માંગુ છુ,
તમારા અધર(હોઠ) પર ની મુસ્કાન ની કહાની સુણવા માંગુ છુ
If are willing to tell me something, I am ready to understand,
I want to listen to the story of smile of your lips.
तुम कुछ कहना चाहते हो, तो मे भी कुछ समजना चाहता हूँ,
तेरे होंठ की मुस्कान की कहानी सुनना चाहता हूँ
(17) સીધો જ રસ્તો હતો- તારા ઘર થી મારા ઘર સુધી નો,
પણ હૂ હારો , આ મંજીલો મા અટવાઈ ગયો !!
It was just a straight path towards your home,
But I, the unfortunate, was stuck in these destinies.
सीधा ही रास्ता था, मेरे घर से तेरे घर तक का,
पर मैं ही साला, ये मंजिलो मे फँस गया.
(18) Dear , તને પ્રેમ નું શું પ્રમાણ આપું ,
તું ચાહે તો ગુલાબ ની ખુશ્બુ ઉધાર આપું !!
प्रिये में प्यार का क्या सबूत दूँ तुजे,
अगर चाहे तो गुलाब की खुशबू , उधार दूँ तुजे !!
Dear what should I do to prove my love,
If you wish, can owe you fragrance of rose !!
(19)बात तो सही है, पर उनको पता कैसे चले ?
यहाँ तो , हवा भी हमने - चरागों में बंध करके रखी है !!!
વાત તો સાચી છે , પણ એને ખબર કેવી રીતે પડશે ,
કે અહીંયા તો મેં , હવા ને પણ રૂમ માં કેદ કરીને રાખી છે !!!
That’s the Okay that I love her,
But how she knows how much I Love,
I have just encaged my feelings,
And engraved deep into my heart !!!
