"Let's give a huge round of applause for our next performer Nikhil Baraiya" સ્ટેજ પરથી એનાઉન્સમેન્ટ થયું અને એક પચ્ચીસેક વર્ષના લાંબા વાળ વાળા, કાળી કફની, બ્લૂ જીન્સ અને aviator ફ્રેમના ચશ્મા પહેરેલા dashing યુવકની એન્ટ્રી થઈ. ઓડિટોરિયમ પ્રેક્ષકોની તાળિયોના અવાજ અને ચિચિયારીઓથી ગુંજી ઉઠ્યું. અને પછી છવાઈ ગઈ એક નીરવ શાંતિ. દર્શકો નિખિલ ને સાંભળવા માટે આતુર હતા. કલા પણ એમાંની એક હતી, અને સૌથી વધુર આતુર આજે એ હતી. કદાચ પર્ફોર્મર કરતાં પણ વધારે. ઓડીટોરિયમમાં છવાયેલી શાંતિ અને નિખિલ ના પહેલા શબ્દ વચ્ચે કદાચ અડધી મિનિટ જેટલો જ સમય હશે પણ એટલા સમયમાં કલાની આંખો સામેથી એનો આખો ભૂતકાળ પસાર થઈ ગયો. અને તે એ દિવસમાં પહોંચી ગઈ જ્યારે એણે નિખિલ ને પહેલી વખત સાંભળ્યો હતો.....
